Our cat rarely walks on my gear, but I keep my expensive synths covered by vinyl/cloth covers at all times when not in use. It protects them from dust, spills, cat hair, etc. I get mine from DigitalDeckCovers. You can order them for just about about any synth, or they will make a custom-sized cover for you. |
i came across a post on gearslutz asking the same question i did
https://www.gearslutz.com/board/moa...llent-gear.html
and somebody made an excellent suggestion, they said to cover the gear in double-stick tape cuz cats hate that stuff. a couple years ago we used double-stick tape on our bed's headboard because he's get up there and mess up the blinds, because of birds outside. the double-stick tape stopped him.
it seems like the perfect idea is to get one of those vinyl covers you linked then cover it with double-stick tape. i use cloth towels to cover my gear now to protect it from dust but i'll need to get a vinyl cover so the tape will stick to it. thanks for the idea!
