Looks like there is a new party series in town. From what I've gathered, these parties will be held every 2-3 months in different warehouse/non-club locations that will not be announced until the day of. It doesn't sound like an illegal rave based on who's been promoting it so far - White Label Promo, Activate and TRC.
Can't wait to see who's headlining the first party. The venue is 2 rooms and holds a total of 900 people.
Even though the name is a rip of Manchester's Warehouse Project it reminds me a lot of the BLK MRKT parties in NYC. Their non-traditional locations were always sent out the day of over e-mail. I wonder if TWP will be doing the same.
Very exciting! Toronto is getting better and better every year. Hopefully it won't be long until we have another proper after hours like Boa, System Soundbar or Industry.
sounds good, my one concern is its going to be full of the typical toronto bookings that happen multiple times a year - which i understand is good for a larger percentage of party goers but I've narrowed down my tastes a lot more recently. will still attend the first one i think pending other events

Good idea and I'm also hoping they don't book the usual artists that usually come to tdot and spice it up a bit with new ones.
It sounds awesome.... but you know.... TRC is involved
not saying those guys are bad but there going to bring in a shitty crowd... white label is cool...
theres to many ppl into the scene now and tixs sell out so quick... look at maceo plex, it was sold out the next day....
but other than that the warehouse party vibe is legit... I did 2 last year... the Heineken party w/ Benoit + Sergio, and that amazing Vice party w/ Skrillex and ATrack, and the year before that was Steve Lawler at circus academy...
but yea I'm still excited to see who will be announced hopefully its somebody new to the city... MK would be proper...

The trolls on TRC get all the attention and that tarnishes the group as a whole but I like to believe that most of the ones that come out to these types of things are not asshats.
The idea behind the event has potential but they need to set the tone properly from the onset with the first party... the ppl behind it know what they're doing - just a matter of the right crowd to come out

yeah its way too much trolling, way more than TA back in its prime... and it sucks because right now I rely on TRC and TA and a couple of really small facebook groups to enthused about this scene...
I'm not sure on how they will set the tone other than bring in talent that will bring a certain crowd out...
It looks like they are already on 3rd tier tixs lol
