listen to beginning. You will hear how the filter is being manipulated because the crest is still low.
the second example is done by using an arpegiator with the speed really high and say the pattern is 3 note 16th pattern , stretch it to 12 notes , 4 notes per pitch, with the 4erth being quiet. That is how you get that video game sound.
just checked robotrance's link. Thats pretty much it. |
Yes exactly. I was testing a bit and I could get some good results that I want. Just left to try the second one that you explained to me. I was thinking that is kind a Distortion added like decimate or bitcrush. And it is, I heard some video game sound, maybe square wave on it.

Nice. Yeah, It's true. The second one that you made really like it. What kind of waveform you used or effects ? I was testing a bit and I could find the lead effect.

No, I'm saying that I don't have Reason. And I was testing with Sylenth1.

Yes, It has. This is what I did:
Osc1: Saw
Osc2: Saw 1/Octave different
Osc3: Saw 2/Octave different (I noticed better the effect)
I apply also detuned to them.
Activate Low Pass Filter. I added a bit of resonance and I modulate LFO to the Cutoff Filter.
