Advice on this tabletop rack

thinking of getting one of these so i can put my nord and Q into it

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...&pf_rd_i=468294

will there be enough space for both? I cant seem to find how many "U" each rack takes up - i know my fireface is a standard 1U

They're both 5u (or is the Nord 4u?) So you should be fine. Just make sure that all the connectors are usable if they're racked on top of each other.

I had one like that years ago and it was a pretty flimsy POS. I wouldn't trust it with $3K worth of gear. As Geoff mentioned, one thing that you really need to consider with these types of racks are the placement of your audio, MIDI, and power connections. In some cases, you might need right-angle connections or adapters - not too big a deal for audio cables, but finding right-angle MIDI cables can be a challenge.

Be careful of Adam Hall stuff. I used to sell a ton of it. It's OK for basic use but it's not made incredibly well and doesn't stand up to a good kicking.
