ah, i just had a brilliant idea. Everyone who gets one of these messages should DOS attack the server.
in case you don't know, here is some info on DOS attacks: http://www.denialinfo.com/
an ip message cannot be sent without a from address. this address can be extracted, and then targeted with a DOS attack.
Somebody should set up a website to gather all the people who have been targeted, and organize them together for a synchonized attack.
in fact, even better would be to hack the person who's doing this, then steal their database, and send out your own message to all the people's ip's in it.
you could say something to the effect of:
"Somebody has stolen your ip address, and now posseses it in their database. This is unfair and an invasion of privacy. We would like to get even with these people. We are setting up an attack against them. please go to the following webpage, www.stopipspammers.com, and sign up. you can download the client, and we will make these bastards pay"
alternately, we could have people call up that phone number and ream the shit out of the people, and have them pull their heads out of their asses and realize this is not acceptable behaviour for any company.
