Indeed, it is better than letting your child urinate on the floor; however, the options are rarely the cup or the floor. Look at that picture... clearly, they are in a fast food restaurant. Completely agree with this; It doesn't even look like a ghetto fast food place - I've been in McDonalds in NYC that look way worse that that -this is purely just complete lack of basic human manners. I mean if I was sitting at a table and some dad did that I would chuck my food at them and leave. Any place that tolerates people (even a kid) pissing where you consume food is a no-go. Worse comes to worse take em outside and let them piss in to a bush, but in to a cup at the table. As you said, not a actions of any properly socialized human. He might as well let him piss on the floor.
