Tiesto @ Vision Oct 26 2002
I wish for all the TA's that were under 21 that Vision was 18+
Here is a review from me. The night was so awesome. I got to Vision @ about 12:30 when the opening DJ's were switching. Dont know who was who, but Noel Sanger and Andy Hunter were with Tiesto and the Asian guy with the glasses kept the house going moving until Tiesto started. About 1:30 is when the master stepped behind the wheels. Wow. For those of you that have not been to Vision here is a quick layout of the floor. The 3rd floor is the bar/dancefloor when everyone was. Around the dancefloor are balconies going up two levels. For tiestos opening i was on the second balcony to the right of the DJ booth.
Take a look at the DJ booth that is on the second balcony:
I had a wonderful glimpse into Tiesto's Flight case of vinyl and i saw how many CD-R's he uses. He has a case with at least 50 to 70 or more. I saw that he doesnt even have andain - summer calling on vinyl either. That is on a CD-R! All i have to say is Tiesto was so awesome. I cant remember too many songs because alot of the songs were ones I have never heard before. Here is what i do remember:
Flash - Closing sessions
D*Note - Shed My Skin (Mr Sams Stylus remix)
Tiesto - Urban Train (!!!!!!! HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT!!!!! )
Tiesto - Flight 643
Umek - Gatex was it?? I dont remember
I dont recall any other names as of yet..........but hopefully all the Chicago TA's that showed up can help in Track list.
I only ran into one TA last night. I partied it up with DevanteS for almost all of the night. How many other TA's were in there??
Ok well i need to sleep and recover some more. Any other reviews??

The club was amazing, truly amazing. The guy before Tiesto (I think Andy Hunter) played a great set. He finished off with Rodger Goode- In the Begining and Tiesto then came on. Tiesto got the crowd hyped and kept everyone that way all night. The only complaint that I had was his lack of familiar tracks. He played mostly non melody, non-vocal, hard tracks. His set was good, dont get me wrong but Tiesto got me into Trance years ago for his style and beautiful music, and that night i expected to hear some of his usual stle music, but was instead listening to music not familiar to me. I had a great time and the club was great, i just felt a little let down that i did'nt hear the Tiesto style set i came for.

It's funny cuz most COMPLAIN about the fact that he plays the same set over and over. At least he didn't do what he did in Atlanta earlier in the week, and play nothing but techno...

I got to see him just 2 days before, on the 24th here in Atlanta at The Riviera. The night started out I got there at 10:30pm and Tiesto was supposed to get up at midnight, it's about 40-50 degrees and I'm waiting outside in the line in a short sleeve shirt and ufo's standing with my friend and my fiance. The line isn't too extremely long but it doesn't move at all, the owner f the venue is a real ass and pulled one of those "make the people wait outside to make my club look good." Long frustrating time waiting outside in an inactive line then 1am rolls around and I figure we just missed an hour of his set and he's probably not spinning long because it's a Thursday night, by this point they're letting people in only as people leave (we were only like 15 ft from the door at this point) and we finally make it in by 1:30... turns out Tiesto was up late and got up at 1 so we only missed a half hour, he ended up spinning until around 4 or 5.. AMAZING SET! I've never been to a party with a more live crowd, Tiesto is incredible.
I pulled down a poster for the party off the wall and Tiesto signed it for me, just a badass night altogether, well worth the 3 hour wait!
