JamX & de Leon doesn't have any North American dates in 2003 but nothing is scheduled from mid March to June and July - Nov. Just wondering how much it would cost to have Dumonde here? Maybe a venue like the Better Living Centre ? (oh my god, I would be in heaven and die! ) or maybe a club like Viva?

y not just bring dumonde and some other dj`s like guy ornadel or deep dish with them and book skydome for that event, i bet the money would come back to whoever gave the money for that event
yeah i know the blue jays play at skydome like every second day from march till october, i said only till ocotber cause play-offs start like in the beginnin of october and i know this team has no chance of gettin there any time soon

I think having Skydome as the venue wouldn't be economically feasible. Sure the scene in Toronto can definately support it but I don't think any promoter would want to take a chance because the cost at Skydome would be so high (or am I wrong?)

Maybe having it somewhere like Air Canada Centre? Now that would rock!

Skydome has become a peice of junk. Soon it will be abandoned and then we can have one of those oldschool "illegal" raves there one night!

Seriously though a rave at Skydome would seriously suck. The space is too big, the sound would bounce, and there is no way the could fill up the place. ACC would be really good though i bet. But go ahead and try to book the ACC for a rave; you'll get laughed at from em.

ANd yeah back to the topic! DuMonde wouldn't be too highly priced I'm sure. And its obvious that there is a huge demand.

i think skydome is cheaper then acc and better too, at least u can open the roof,
i bet u could find ppl or companies who would give put the money on the table for the event to go on, but then there is the mayor which doesn`t like havin a "loud" party in the center of the street, pearson i don`t think u could close down, there are too many landing strips, i think like 6 or so, that`s what i heard, tho i think if not the skydome then why not that island airport its pretty big and no one lives on the island, yeah i know there would be crazy ppl who would try to swim from toronto to the island or the other way around but still it would be good, and there isn`t much planes taking off anyway

but i think u would have to bring some more dj`s then only dumonde if u were go ahead with the airport event, at least few more, i dunno who but someone could think of that for us

Yeah but you never know. I almost lost my mind when DJ Sneak and Micro was booked at Roy Thompson Hall last year Imagine that, an event at Roy Thompson Hall. If promoters can book a venue like that, they can book it anywhere.

Skydome is the most expensive venue in the city, followed by ACC.

So you want to thrwo a party in there?? For just the system and venue rental for skydome you will need about 200,000CDN...

As for Dumonde: NO COMMENT!!!

Ok, maybe Skydome is a little far fetched, but didn't Montreal have their Bel En Blanc at Olympic Stadium last year? Why not have it at ACC?

I would EASILY dish out $100 or more to see Dumonde at a venue like that.
