hardly modern is it.

is it connected to the mike casa track in any way, or it just has 'life' in it?

the mike casa track is actually addictive. i doubt this has that quality.

I know both these guys, they're from Montreal.. and I know for sure Mike Casa hates this track haha. Used to hang with Mike quite a bit while he was working with Maher, he's moved to Berlin last year I believe.

Definitely. Its not really uncommon either, as you grown and learn, a lot of the older stuff can make you cringe.. I haven't spoken to Mike in a long time but I know him, and he most likely wishes he never released this.

He grew out of the tech house phase sound pretty quickly.

It's also not uncommon for a producer to be his own harshest crtitic.

weird. sounds a little snobby.

i can see someone making a shitty EDM track with those stupid glitch effects and shit and cringing at that later on, but this is a great track, in a hardly-cheesy genre. i think i read a review of a mix compilation on RA, and the reviewer highlighted this as the stand out track of the album, and that's what turned me on to it... been playing it ever since, and it never lost its appeal.

must sound booming in a club... maybe that's what he doesn't like? i'm guessing his stuff now is all boring. this track isn't even that old! mike done went all sophisticated on me. oh well, at least two people really appreciate the track

the machine itself would start the music
