Maybe the guys that have installed CDR Win dont know that when you entered thw rong serials, even if you do that and ti says thankx the proggie will waste all your cd's
I have installed CDR Win 3.9b
So if anyone has currently installed this version and is running ok, pls post the serial pls

i have 3.9b running and serialed. it took me a while to actually find a working serial but i eventually came across one. i have a 4x usb burner at home and unfortunately i think there is a problem in general with 3.9b because i can only burn at 2X (4x toasts cds).

your problem may be 3.9b in general.

either way, i can forward you the serial when i get home from class today.

Like Nick said, it's likely not because of the serials. The serials do nothing for hardware/software components- they just verify the user with a copywrighted version that was purchased. It's likely due to your Burner. Check the Golden Hawk's website to see if it supports your CD burner type, and see if they have any downloads for it. When I upgraded to 3.8G, I had a similar problem, and had to look for software on their website that supports my burner. Once I found it, it works like a charm.

Umm.. It's a known copy protection for CDRWIN (any version).. It will accept "any" generated cdkey, but if it's verified to be invalid, each burn will have so many bad blocks that the cd will be unusable... So yeah.. be sure you enter a TREID AND TESTED serial number... You can find one that works on astalvista.com...

To MisterOpus1, my cdr/w is working ok. I had once installed an older version and the same as now happened. I kept on searching for the right serial and I eventually found it. Pls check the cdrwin help files... if not. Like k.k.d. says, then it can happened that a warning is display saying the it is very old or it can accepted thwe serial. In tha case the cd willbe always waste.

TO nickmahoney, if you can email me or pm me the right and workinf serial together with CDR win correct version I will be enourmously happy.
