I remember you asking me about mixing in a DAW a while ago. Is that how you put this one together? I'll have a listen anyway, looks the right length for my flight on Wednesday.

Not a bad mix for a first effort. The build up was smooth, and just when I thought you were going too deep and tribal too soon, you pulled out a couple of big bombs and kicked things up a gear nicely. I must say I'm not a huge fan of the Simon Berry or Jam El Mar tracks, so the climax of this set was not as big for me as it might have been, but the way you built to it was done well.
On a technical level, you seemed to be bringing in new tracks at full volume quite regularly, which made some of the transitions a little too forceful and abrupt. With DAW mixes you don't have the benefit of real-time EQing, so it's worth tweaking your levels as much as possible so transitions don't become too loud.
Yeah I was pleased with it up to Praha track and the longer I went on with tribal I sensed a dead end. The track had no outro so I just crashed in the Morales track, which was also hard for me at least, to follow it up with something. After that I had no idea where to go except big/breakdown tracks.
Also agree on the levels comment, some transitions felt contrived to me as well after I published it. I'll definitely keep that in mind on my next one.
