Wife is due on Tuesday, but it's possible that he will be a little late. Hoping to see my son this coming week. |
Eh due dates mean fuck all. Babies come when they're ready. The whole concept of "late" is mostly stupid. Think a baby knows what the date on the calendar says?
My baby was a week "late", but I knew that it's normal and fine for babies to take up to 2 weeks "late" to make an appearance.
My OB wanted to induce me at a week past due, and I refused (well actually, I rescheduled it) because A) I knew the baby would come in her own time, and B)no way in hell was I having an induction - they cause such horrible labours. I've never heard a positive story about induced labour.
I had my baby the DAY AFTER I was supposed to be induced. Only a dose of morphine when I got there to take the edge off, but no pain, no tearing, no complications. I got to the hospital around 2, and the baby was out 4ish hours later. Easy peasy.
Anyway, let us know how it goes. Lol.
