John Digweed @ Twilo New York, 2001-01-26

This "one hell of a satoshi fest - Mark Anthony" set has disappeared from the internet unfortunately and I can't find my old file. Its not the 4 year Twilo anniversary set thats also from 2001, that set is really easy to find everywhere.

A bit of backstory on this set, John replayed it on Transitions (on Kiss FM) in 2008 as a throwback to his old days at Twilo. He had it on his Soundcloud, and a guy named "everybodywantstobethedj" uploaded it to his as well. Both versions seem to be gone from Soundcloud, and the only other links I can find are for megaupload, which as we all know is dead.

https://www.1001tracklists.com/trac...2001-01-26.html

[1] Robert Owens & Danny Tengalia - I'll Be Your Elements
[2] The Hush - Think (Hydrogen Rockers Dub)
[3] Electric Tease - Your Lovin (16B Dub)
[4] Moby - Southside (Pete Heller Remix)
[5] Stylus Trouble - Sputnik One
[6] Bipath - Paranoize
[7] Madam - Penetration (Madam & Bipath Flipped Dub)
[8] Madam - Penetration (Madam & Bipath Main)
[9] Satoshi Tomiie - Atari (Under-Path)
[10] Satoshi Tomiie - Love In Traffic

Yes, Sputnik One is cheesy as fuck. But its only a minor blemish on an otherwise fantastic set. We need to rescue this set for our children, and our children's children! Especially as one of the rare sets of Digweed which he actually verified was recorded at Twilo.

I feel dumb, I went to play another Digweed set and found this track was just in the unknown artists folder which I somehow missed entirely. Still was worth making this thread

If you want this Digweed set here it is for the foreseeable future:

God damn you Digweed for becoming such a boring DJ over the last couple years.

Saw Diggers play last year and while he's always on point and still delivered a decent set, it pains me to think Digweed used to play so hard

Huh? I agree that he's nowhere near as good as he used to be, but I'd say he's harder than ever. I saw him a month ago, and at least 50% of his set was hard as nails techno.

Eh... Some of it was good stuff, quite acidic in places. He does tend to lapse into that kind of Julian Juweil boom-boom stuff though. He's not going to win any plaudits from Hardwax customers, put it that way.
