The MS-2000r definitely sounds good, but it's only got 4 voice polyphony, which isn't that much. But with some recording one can overcome that though..

Yeah and it's only 2 part multitimbral which is very poor. The Ms2000 is excellent if you already have one or two synths that provides you with synth parts. If you want the synth to play more than two sounds at one time you would have to record the synthlines to free up more synth parts.

Why not a virus or a nova?

The ms2000 is definately one of the best va synth's ever built in terms of sound quality and control but like attacc already mentioned, if it's your first va synth you won't have enough polyphony but if you allready have a sampler you can always sample your leads into it and only use the ms2000 for the patches you can only do with a va synth (ex a patch with pwm in it). Go get em .

ps snotbubble you're really pathetic.

I love this synth and it is pretty cheap too!!! If you have a studio setup then you will not care about polyphony or multibrality. Just record the parts seperate and put them together.
