We are child free for over 24 hours! We were supposed to have friends over to resume an annual holiday party tradition we've had going for almost 10 years now, but everyone bailed so now we're just going to enjoy doing whatever we want on our own schedule, heh.

I am most looking forward to going out to dinner at any time that suits us, to any restaurant, without a reservation. And hopefully sleeping in tomorrow.


Things are gonna get weird tonight, that's for sure.

Closed on our house today.

It’s my brother in law’s birthday today. For my wife’s 30th birthday, he got her a cane, so she’s getting him a walker. We just got done assembling it and putting tennis balls on the legs.

Today we went to see my wife's cousin and family in Germany who got his fourth child . And while we were there we also visited his parents. After that we went to eat schnitzel in Monschau. A small town which is a popular tourist attraction. I noticed we went from Holland into Germany, into Belgium, into Germany, into Belgium and again into Germany, shortest and fastest route LOL, crossed the borders ten times today.

Not much planned for the weekend, but looking forward at another week off.

My fourth evening on a very fish and schnapps oriented diet in Copenhagen. I've never been a fan of fish, and I can taste herring everywhere after supper. Even the fucking beer somehow gets a herring-y aftertaste during supper.

Just had four days off, nmow two days at work and another 4 off. YASSS.

Not up to much apart from polishing off some of the gift wine bottle from Xmas but NYE is going to fun.....

....thinking about going to a brand new Venue downtown to see Sasha do the midnight set
