records you'd love repressed
Do you love or hate represses?
I was happy that Daso's Meine Idee got a repress last year. Such a good record, and I almost bit the bullet and bought an original copy at an exorbitant price.
The lowest asking price for the Adam K & Soha Vocal Mix of Reflekt's Need To Feel Loved is going for £417.60 right now. Yikes.
I'm curious how much people have paid above retail value for a record they've wanted, or do you now just hope for a repress?
I managed to get lucky and find a few of their releases in mint condition for a great price, but I'd love to see the Driftwood catalogue repressed. Same with the Tonika Recordings stuff.
Is there something special about the limited access to a record because of its high asking price?
Perhaps there's something on vinyl that isn't available digitally that you'd like to see get a digital release?
