At the risk of being a misery guts, I'm not really a fan. I thought their first album was a bit too clean and simple, and this one continues that trend and also adds a lot of analogue Autechre-esque synth tones I find a bit noisy and irritating.

I wish they'd consolidated their club sound with at least one album of no-nonsense tuneful bangers before going in this direction. Or at least, continued to make the club bangers whilst doing this kind of home-listening stuff on the albums.

I could go for a nice two-disc album, club bangers on Disc 1, this stuff on Disc 2.
