not sure when the next update will be but this is the best Footy Manager game of all time imo. Very addictive.

Yeah great game, my comp is too slow tho, takes agesss to load, most I ever played is 2 seasons haha

Championship Manager 4 is due for release in early 2003 if it all goes to plan, personally I canna wait, I've been playing them since it began and cant wait, if u wanna see the developers site, then Click Here

I love CM. Have bought every game since 96/97 or something like that.. Never thought a computer game could get this addicting. But I never played until 2044...hehe.

The new one is set to be released in February. Theres a demo (videofile) available on the net. I found it at www.planetfootball.com

i'm still yet to win the CL with Liverpool, i've been there for 5 times. And cant believe Roma have dominated the competition with fuckin 30 year olds.

If you are in yer first season or second, get a player called Justin Georcellin who plays for Northampston Town in the lower divisions. This striker is GOD! Get him before anyone else gets him

I had this in mind expecting Champ Man 4 to be coming out in Decemer ready in time for xmas, but the release date has been put back to Feb 2003 now

Anyways the point of this topic is thus:

Once the new Championship Manager is released I will be running a competition to find out who is the BEST manager at the game.

I will decide on a team for EVERYONE to select (havent decided yet!), and it is your job to do as well as you possible can in just ONE season!

Whoever gains the highest number of points in the league or manager points (havent decided which is best to use yet), will win !

Let me know your suggestions for this like which team should be the default (National or International etc.) and if the positions should be decided on league or manager points. Mayebe trail run with champ man 01/02 first of all to wet your appitites?

The rules are that if you get sacked its game over your out of the competition. Your NOT allowed to use the editor as a screen shot of your points/league and team must be shown.

If you do know a way of cheating please don't as it just ruins it for eveyone else and you'll only be cheating yourself. Just try and do it out of merit and it should all be good fun
