So This is TRANCe addict why no Rumors on Trance legend Acosta?
After living in Miami and seeing Gerge Acosta almost every weekend progressively lose his fan base do to drunk mixing, horn blasting and playing hard rave trance music, Why hasnt anyone said anything about him coming to NYC.
He will MOST DEFINATELY have a residency at A BIG Club Here. Where is iT?
The only thin I am sure of is that hi scontract ends January 1st at Level and he is rumored to come to NYC....
I say the perfect place would be Exit but no way is whats his face paying acosta, and i think webster hall has givin up hope of becoming a decent trance club. So Where.... And Remeber with Him comes talent like Talla, Taucher, etc

His Ultra WMC 2002 set was best of all.
AM/PM cd is awesome, so is accostination..

Actually, the only time I saw him live was at Rave on the Rocks last summer, and I was really dissapointed with him. I like AM:Pm and Next Level was ok. Maybe it was because he was on first and couldn't bang it out much, but I was suprised how crappy it was.
Of course he played a 5 hour set later that night at the Gothic, so he might have been up to par then, but I didn't feel like going after seeing him before...

Heers my 2 cents.
I have only seen Acosta twice. Once as a closer for ATB at Webster Hall (Ministry of Sound Record Release party). He played alot of hard tech trance, no train wrecks, good mixing and alot of crowd interaction.
..... then once at exit. This had to be the WORST SET I HAVE EVER HEARD EVER!!!!
UHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That sums the night up for me

Acosta is very hit or miss...
the bottom line is this: THERE ARE BETTER DJ's OUT THERE THAN ACOSTA (no pun intended, but i hope you get my drift).

crobar is open in NYC???
and about acosta... i heard him at a rave that EXIT held couple years back and he came on and played a terrable set ... and only for like 30 min... then the club closed b/c they got robbed at gun point HAHAHA that shit made me laugh when i saw it in the newspaper the next day b/c my friends and i were wondering why they shut the place down so early. oh and after that night... i decided im never going to a "RAVE" ever again.. too much jungle and that happy hardcore shit for me. bottom line : dont give a shit about acosta and hope he doesnt make it to NYC

yea.. .i figured.. b/c they knew where they have the money... i was right there on the second floor next to the bar when they robbed it.. it was crazy.. i saw mad bouncers just start running after couple guys...
