Not again!.... dude if you read this forum everyday you'll see that:
1. About 90% of TAs have loved his latest sets (GK B-Day, NEC Gatecrasher, Miami Global Broadcast, and Radio 1 from last Sat. etc.)
2. These new sets have all been mad energetic (Gatecrasher) or progressive-to-uplifting in an interesting way (Global Broadcast from 2 weekends ago, Radio 1 from last weekend).
3. He got NEW records, and great ones too.
4. His new remixes have all been more than decent and he is even spinning them (Tears from the Moon, Roc Project-Never).
5. If you find any trainwrecks give me the solid evidence in livesets, the exact time they happened. I bet I could find as many or more wrecks in Armin or other superstar sets. Tiesto has never been a technically virtuoso beatmatching mixer, but DJing is so much more than this. Tiesto's gift has always been his magical track placement and creativity in blending tunes together. To this day, he's still the best doing this.
I never ever really liked Oakey much but I've been loyal to Tijs for around 5 years and imo he keeps getting better, although more complex, with time.
Tiesto did what many consider as being the remix of the year-Southern Sun.
Tiesto did what many consider to be the liveset of the year- 02 02 02 Dutch Dimension while Impulz also gets many mentions.
Tiesto is here to stay and if you don't like it then don't tune in

Oh, this discussion again.
I can't really agree that Oakey has gone after the big buck, sure he
is doing soundtracks for some movies but who wouldn't ?
Would you be the first in history to say "No thank you, I wanna keep it underground!" ?
Phat chance.
Can't say that his taste is too commercial either, Bunkka (which I did not like)
is not what public likes and his sets theese days contain alot more
house (which I DO like) then the 1999-trance.
Oakey has changed, evolved and passed on. So has Tiësto and all other
major DJs becuase you has to, you will always find new genres that interest
you and new songs that sounds cool, its just that some DJs branch
off in a way that you don't like. But to scream "COMMERCIAL DJ!" just
because he plays house is for me, not understandable.
But I must agree, Ive heard some trainwrecking in both Oakey and
Tiësto's sets lately and If I were to count only thoose, damn how much
they would suck. But look on the whole picture, Oakenfold has been
playing since the 1980s, start counting the number of gigs.
The number of trainwrecks will go up but the number of smoooooth
transitions will rise even more.

here's a fuckin tip, search the past 2 months for the INNUMMERABLE THREADS OF THE SAME CONTENT and reply to one of them
k? now good
in any case, you're way out of touch with any recent sets, because they've been quite good.
try not to be a sheep, and follow the flock son.

So then you're saying Paul van Dyk is a money hungry sell-out also.
And any artist that remixed Ayu is a sell-out. That would make a lot of big names sell-outs.
