the "wave like"....which ones are you talking about...
i have a pair of those velvety ones in black
they have a sort of wave-like pattern
i suppose they are anti-static, seeing how once i stopped using the neoprene ones that came with my tables, and i started using these...there was almost no static

does anyone know good sites for lots of different slipmats? I am specifically looking for a transformers/decepticons slipmat.

THanx for the info john.
I personally have no problem mixing with the Technics slipmats that came with my tables also. Is it really neccessary to purchase new slipmats? Are there any negatives to using the ones they give u on the technics?
