Thoughts on iinet?
Howde everybody.
Well it's official, I'm moving on up into the world of iinet ADSL Has anybody had any bad experience with them (apart from the plan change). Also, does anybody know if you can use a SpeedStream 3060 PCI Internal ADSL Modem instead of the one they supply? Cause there's no way I'm paying $240 for a modem!
Also, anybody interested in getting $50 off their next bill? If I put your name down you get $50 off.

As far as I know, its one of the better ISP's around today.
Ozzie broadband still needs some work though

Umm... Only avaliable in VIC and NSW as far as I know... Also, you get disconnected for 0.1ms every 24 hours (so i've read), and yeah... Seems to be an "okay" choice if you planing on downloading more than the average bear!
This whole "unlimited" download buzz has just only started, I would like to see what happens to the boardband industry in 6 months time, who knows, Telstra might stop being sooo greedy and drop prices for all resdential, commerical, and wholesale boardband pipes/lines. Or dare i say it, offer an UNLIMITED Download plan...

Just signed up for this plan about 30 minutes ago
Go to the website Mikrop .. www.i-green.net
The only problem with this plan is that it is a low-end ADSL connection (256k/64k) - but that still downloads way faster than dialup
So yeah, buying my own ADSL modem/router (I have 5 computers and a network switch in my house)
Looking forward to it! I'm sure you'll all hear if I have problems
