i'm about to order my first records from juno, and i've heard that you don't get charged any customs as they ship by mail. is this 100% true, and will i only have to pay gst/pst? if there are any other online stores that let you get around the customs, please post...thanks.

Yes, they will definitely charge you GST/PST. As for duty fees, I don't remember seeing any on my last order. Be prepared to wait a while for your records, mine took over a month to get here because they were held up in customs.

and please hurry up cause i'm incredibly impatient

there is no Customs charge..there is however a $5 handling fee. Doesnt matter if its 1 record or 20, they open your package and its %5 right there + GST

Yea i get charged about 2.50 cnd per record that i get from chem by customs.

well here is my experience:

dancegrooves.com = only ordered once, shit cause highly priced vinyl, also a $32 charge.

only-djs.com =
when ordering more than 20 records at the same time I get charged anywhere from $20-60 (GST/PST)
when only 10 (sometimes a charge sometimes, no charge )
when ordering 5 records (i have not had to pay a charge once!)

I just got an order of 5 vinyls, woke up this morning at it was sitting in front of my door, mind you I live in Oakville, Ontario. Which is apparently considered to be the 2nd richest city in Canada... not that I or my parents are rich...
