Producers do you like working with full vocals, vocal clips or no vocals at all?

i dont love working with vocals.. but it seems to be whats in now.. =\ just gotta go with the flow though.. whatever you are feeling. When ever i use vocals i only use clips, and i dont use the singing part.

Labels here in the US really look for Trance with Vocals because of what it can turn into and how much easier it is to market and promote. Radio, billboard charts for the most part won't happen without vocals on a trance track. I think uplifting trance works best with vocals but, not full vocals... some clips with maybe a line or two here and there. Too much vocals on a trance track are overkill and takes away from the song, plus it's much, much harder to make it all sound RIGHT!

I think it also depends on the sound of the vocalist if they have that voice that just fits so perfect then I say go with the vocals. Tiesto is great working with vocals the guy just knows how to place them inside a track.

I used a vocalist on my track antarctica, posted on the board below and i really liked working with the full vocal. chopping it up and doing effects is also effective.
If i do i vocal version i always like to have an instrumental too tho

A great musical track should make it's listeners feel some kind of emotions. If you can pull that off without vocals then your a really, really good producer aslong as the track is tight production/studio wise. If you can manage to add vocals to that track you will not only create emotions you will create memories because listeners often remember the worlds of songs or the hook when trying to explain it to others. Thats why it's called a HOOK! lol it hooks the people in.............
