I Heard that mauro picotto is leaving BXR? Rumors? well i think he is. i read something about it on BXR forum, but all the fucking thread's are in italian so? anyway if he 's actually leaving BXR with ricky effe and Fasano Then im Very Happy. BXR is getting very Commercial Label ''Cheesy'' Label lately, so i hope mauro create's a new label Soon. Mauro is becoming more underground and tech, not commercial and trancy like before, so is better for him... Anyway i think Joy Kitikonti and Mario piu are going to take care of BXR and Sacrifice. What do you think of Picotto leaving BXR?

techno it's pretty much my life.

i agree with you that BXR has become incredibly cheesy
before I would try to buy almost every bxr release coz it was quality stuff, now I dont even bother giving them a listen anymore

I think picotto will continue to play and create more and more techno and as you say become *very* underground and I will most definately continue to support the lizard man

It not so much problem for me if he leaves bxr, because I will always buy his stuff

But I will still buy BXR stuff because I still like much of it

bxr has always been cheezy..

In one of his interview he said that he can't be completely commited to managing a lable and being a DJ. He mentioned such names as Kitikonti to take his place.

This is correct. Mauro has left the label as he feels it is not going in the right direction musically. He now only has time for himself and Ricky Effe and has therefore left the label in the hands of his other label mates - Joy, Gabry etc.
Rumours are that he does plan to set up his own label sometime in the future.
Mauro will return to gatecrasher in May - i think - for his final 6 hour set there - apparently something special has been planned....
