and some info to explain with slight spoilers(beware!):

"The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions are not two separate sequel films, say the filmmaking Wachowski brothers. Rather, they are one movie cut in half and being released in theaters separately.

The brothers Wachowski remain mum on all other aspects of their highly awaited continuation of the Matrix story. So is the rest of the cast and crew, but Rolling Stone magazine has the goods straight from the source: the movie screenplay. And in the venerable, years-old tradition of Internet journalism, they're spilling the beans to anyone who'll pay attention. Needless to say, spoilers abound! Stop now if you don't want to know.

In The Matrix, it was bad enough that free people entering the Matrix were hunted down by agents with superpowers; equally so with the drones that continually hunted for rebel submarines in the waterways beneath the city. But it gets worse! The main motivation of the sequels will be that the machines have learned about Zion, the Last Free City, and are sending a quarter-million drilling probes to find and destroy the subterranean bastion. That leaves Neo and posse about 72 hours to defeat the system they've been fighting for a generation or face extinction. Talking about pressure!

Making things worse, Neo must reconcile this imperative with his desire to save Trinity from a dark fate he sees in his dreams.

That's the gist of it, it seems. There's more, of course. We are told that the Matrix sequels will continue to push the envelope with advanced, creative special effects. The much-touted automobile-helicopter chase that was filmed in Sydney is written as a 15-minute sequence to stun even the most attention-deficient adrenaline junkie.

Superhuman antics are also being bumped up a couple of notches. Agent Smith and his cronies are able to aggressively "clone" themselves, replacing rebel adversaries. This might explain an early report of scenes with "hundreds of Agents Smith." The mysterious albino Twins, Neo's newest nemeses, have the ability to de- and re-materialize themselves in different forms like ethereal gas. These two dreadlock-wearing goons have appeared in numerous set photographs; now their natures are revealed. Not to be left out of the upgrade cycle, Neo himself goes from stopping bullets to being a speeding bullet when he learns to fly. Take that, Crouching Tiger!

There are also several important new characters that Neo must meet – or face – in his quest to destroy the Matrix and its hold on humanity. There's the Architect, the godlike creator of the Matrix and presumably one of the Machines. There's also the Key-Maker, an Eastern craftsman who may know a way of stopping the Machines. And of course there's the Oracle, whose ability to see beyond the fiction of the Matrix and reality itself is key in beating the Machines. How her scenes will be handled in the third Matrix film isn't yet known, since Gloria Foster, the actress who played the Oracle, passed away after filming her Matrix Reloaded scenes."

why would anyone WANT to read the script and totally spoil this movie before seeing it? some people are stupid dumbasses.

almost as stupid as people who wont spend 5 bucks to just go see the damn movie, but will download a shitty handcam version 2 days early and watch it so they have bragging rights.
