what do you guys think about the cdj-500 as an addition to my cdj-800?

the 800 will make the 500 look pretty weak.. but the cdj500 is a really nice little box.

It's considered the "technics 1200 of CDs" by many DJs, and used to be the standard at clubs/parties until the 1000 came out.

I own a 500.. barely ever use it.. id rather spin vinyl :d it need a little work (pitch slider is a little worn, jog dial needs a bearing of some sort) but it's a great little box. was hella cheap, too

yeah, they are very nice, i used a pair once.

if i were you, i'd get another 800 though, why would you want a mismatched pair?

well money was an issue but i can i can save up for a couple more weeks and get a matching pair...maybe even think about a cdj-1000
