Puerto Vallarta, clubbing

hey i have a friend whos going to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a bit and hes probably going to be spinning at one of the clubs down there. Im not sure how to spell the name of the club but i think its called Collage or somthing along those lines.

Can anyone give me some info of what the scene is like in Puerto Vallarta? Anyone have any experiences over there, how was the music/local dj's? and if anyone knows the club im talking about and has some info it would be a great help.

Thanks

ok, i have a little bit of info tho its timesensitive (1.5 yrs old). I have never heard of Collage, tho that doesnt mean it doesnt exist! the 'biggest' club there i think is Christines...it looks like it came out of Scarface, cheesy as hell but fog-tastic and they play alright music (tho not only trance or something). the Zoo was pretty cool, they prolly played a little better music, but the vibe was more chill and its a small place - i thot it rocked, others found it too small. Carlos oBriens and Senor Frogs are just big frat parties...which is ok if you wanna do that sorta thing! i dunno about local DJs, or any scene much beyond that. i would suggest a visit tho, youll have a good time, and its cheap for you Canadians! latE|

Why don't you ask at the Ibero-American forum? There are some people from Mexico... and, well, I guess they could help you out

christines is wicked. My buddy lost his hat when the fog went off. Its not near the Malecon, which pretty much everything is..so its a taxi ride off(depends where your hotel is)

Pretty much everything else is downtown by the Malecon (boardwalk)
Id say just go on your guided night with your hotel if they have any. Its free admission and 2 drinks or something, dependin on the hotel and night.
but if you dont want to do that, its a walk..everything is in walking distance. Its all one street.

Collage isn't that bad, but it's a bit further away from the city, so better options would be Carlos O'Brien, Signor Frog and the ZOO BAR.. oh and Cactus is great, all you can drink too.
Although don't expect anything from the music.. simply horrible.
