Hi! I was just wonder if there is a way to stream using traktor or some other dj mixing program? The only way I've got it to work is to put Shoutcast on Input Device: SoundCard Input and then use the Stereo Mix recording option by clicking the Open Mixer button on the Shoutcast DSP Plugin. This worked but is REALLY crap quality. Is there an easier way of doing it???

i use the line input of another computer to stream when I mix using MP3s... main output of the mixing box goes to my reciever, which has a boatload of preamp'ed audio outs.. one of them goes to my second box which runs shoutcast DNAS, and winamp with the DSP plugin.
i set the DSP plugin to soundcard line in, use the windows mixer to select line in as the recording source, and poof it's up. sounds grrrr8 too

This is a little off the streaming subject, but I heard that you can't utilize 2 soundcards with the new version of Traktor (2.0). Is this true? I can't imagine them bringing out a new version without being able to use 2 soundcards.

Hey guys. I too am trying to broadcast a live stream while mixing in Traktor. I got it to work using a combination of Winamp, Shoutcast DNAS server program and the Shoutcast source plugin. Once I figured that part out I fired up Traktor and started playing some tunes. The guy listening to the mix said it sounded fine but later complained he could hear my monitor speaker when mixing song transitions (I'm using a SB Live!, a set of headphones and have Traktor setup with master & monitor 2x mono). Isn't there a way to broadcast just the main channel that is being recorded by Traktor as opposed to broadcasting "what I hear"? Also he complained of hearing static from time to time. I think it happens when I clicked on auto sound leveling but I'm not sure. I'm pretty new to all this so any help would be appriciated. Am I going about this the right way?
