Ayla - Ayla (Original) - Personal Best Ever

We all have our favourites , to me this track has to be the best original trance track ever, of course there has been lots of releases , dumonde , tiesto , avb , pvd , bj etc , but the classics always make you remember the power of trance, just play this track loud as you can, im sure you all have it..whats your all time number one and why ?

I agree with u 100% !! Ayla - Ayla (Original) is my all time fav trance track too, but my alltime fav track is definately Orbital - Belfast, it's just so emotional and beautiful.

I also think that not too many actually have the original version of Ayla, but the more common remixes. Original is just so rare and hard to find these days. I love how it slowly builds up and then explodes to a storming tune with some 303 tweaks. Mmm..

Yes Ayla was and still is an awesome trance track. Every once in awhile i'll listen to that song and it just definitley gets me pumping. I don't know about an all time track though... its just too hard and it would take me awhile to think about it. Right now my favorite track to listen to is Nu-Nrg - Dreamland. I have to hand it to those two italian dj's. They are awesome producers and i'd love to see more sets and tracks from them.

Armin van Buuren -
Communication [Original mix]
Communication [Part II remix]

Because Armin van Buuren's first classic was Communication, it was the very best production, single, and first piece of music he had released which gave him the start of his career. Long live Armin van Buuren!

Ayla - Ayla (Original mix) is good so is Ayla - Leibe. I have both on vinyl, Leibe on the picture disc

x-cabs - Neuro or DJ Tiesto - Sparkle (Transa remix) are my favorites.

I never actually knew the was an "Original" of Ayla - Ayla. I always considered the Taucher Mix as the original.

Anyway, this is and always will be my favourite:

Well, I just had a listen to the original mix of Ayla and it's quite nice. Very different from the Taucher remix but I'm not sure which I like more. Thanks for the tip Grim.

I'd have to say my favourite track is still Kamaya Painters - Endless Wave because it embodies everything I like about trance. Great bassline, beautiful strings and a melody that sticks to your brain. Most of all, it's so damn simple. Almost makes you wish you'd thought of it first...

There are loads of mixes of Ayla and also Kosmonova remake.. (which combines the best parts of Ayla (Tandu remix) & Ayla Part II) Most remixes are based on Tandu remix and only progressive mix. club mix and Mo & Skinny remix are based on the melody of the original mix. That melody is quite different from the one on Tandu remix/other remixes. Also Taucher remix is actually a remix of a remix, re-remix or something like that.

Ayla - Ayla (original edit) 3:49
Ayla - Ayla (original 12" mix) 8:49
Ayla - Ayla (progressive mix) 6:44
Ayla - Ayla (club mix) 7:55
Ayla - Ayla (Mo & Skinny hole in one remix) 7:32
Ayla - Ayla (Tandu remix - edit) 5:31
Ayla - Ayla (Taucher club edit) 7:33
Ayla - Ayla (Taucher radio mix) 3:06
Ayla - Ayla (original Taucher remix) 9:32
Ayla - Ayla (The Space Brothers meet Sacha Collisson remix) 8:38
Ayla - Ayla (Pronti & Kalmani remix) 7:00
Ayla - Ayla '99 (Tandu remix) 7:30
Ayla - Ayla '99 (Veracocha remix) 6:31
Ayla - Ayla '99 (Taucher mix) 7:25 --> just an edit of the '96 version
Ayla - Ayla 2000 (Dj Sakin vs. Ayla's zero and below remix) 8:16

Kosmonova - Ayla (Taucher ´97 remix) 8:10
Kosmonova - Ayla (Intrance remix) 5:44
Kosmonova - Ayla (extended mix) 7:09

I'll dig up my collection if i have the original as mp3 already.. i have it also on vinyl though. If i find it, i'll send it to u Mikey Mike.
