Sad Can you identify the language in this song?

I just downloaded a song called "The Host of Seraphim" by a group called "Dead can Dance".

Not trance but the damn song is soooooo beautiful and haunting.

A woman sings all the way through. SOOO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL! Ofcourse that's only my opinion. You might not like it at all. But I doubt it.

It kind of sounds eastern European but I'm not sure. I saw a movie about Romanian Gypsies that sang very similar songs.

Can those of you with fast net connections please download it and try to see if you recognise the language? Please! pretty please?

If you just go on Kazaa and type The host of Seraphim, it'll come up.

Yes its very beautiful indeed..donno bout the language though

Edit: hm...just listened to it again for you..still cant say what it is. very hard though when the vocabulary is almosted entirely limited to "ohhhh " and "ahhhhooo". Could be Latin ?
