12/7 Ferry Corsten @ GLOW Review!!!

Just got back, and all I can say is: Ferry was THE SHIT! Oh man, he started like at 12:15 (45 min early), and played til like 4:30. The beginning of the set was amazing. Poppin out track after track of ferry-goodness.

Did anyone notice though after he went and pissed, or shit or whatever, his track choice was a little worse? Maybe it was me just being tired, i dunno

Anyway, most of us went and got "champagne" cuz they didnt' check IDs anyway. Then we all told Ferry Happy birthday, and Ian and Ryan held up the Happy B-day Ferry sign. He got cakes, and blew out his candles, and handed out cake to all of us! =). Some girl kept feeding me cake heh. Anyway, a bunch of us signed ferry's birthday sign, and there was one guy who signed it who said "Happy Birthday Ferry, you suck cock!" I was so mad, so i X'd it out.

Then, back to the musak. Great tracks, kept on pumping.

Though, it seems like they didn't tweak much from when the EQ guy came in. Ian said he thinks they raised trebles and possibly only focused on EQing the DJ booth(I think Ian told me that) =P.

Oh yeah, almost forgot.... Ferry handed out free Ligaya vinyls with 4 mixes on it (original, Hiver & Hammer Remix, Ferry Corsten Remix, and Vocal radio version). I got the 2nd one ferry gave out, and he signed it right at the end of his set for me.

Ferry was constantly pumping the crowd. He kept coming out in front of the DJ booth and shakin peoples hands and making em rowdy. It was great. Hes a great DJ.

All you people who went, was great seein ya there, and glad you got to experience a great night as well. Those who weren't there, well... too bad .

Also, met a couple new TAs i hadn't met before, glad to meet you guys. It was also fun seeing the lesbians dancing with eachother

If I left anything out, add it. I'm dead right now, so my brain isn't exactly doing much. Great night!

Oh yeah 1 more thing, this guy grabbed a vinyl ferry gave to reuben right out of his hands, and they fought over it for a lil bit, and then the other guy took it, and reuben punched the other guy in the back of the head!! hah fun times.

It was such a great night, but now i'm dead (and by dead i mean, going to bed).

ferryz pwnz.... it was much better than last time. i DiEd when I head Tilt-Invisible (lost tribe remix), Digital Blonde-Electra and ocean lab-beautiful together. IT was great with the champagne and bday cake. i wrote down TA love Ferry on the Bday sign. I got the ligaya vinyls but i gave it to ferry to sign, I never saw it back, , damm u whoever took it. Me boought pvd tix too

Well what can i say... Ferry has done it again... he is the most amazing dj/producer I have ever seen. It was great to see him on my and his b-day... I got to go in the booth chat w/ him for a few and he signed my happy birthday ferry shirt and gave me a signed copy of ligaya... he had an amazing set and was more interactive with the crowd than i have ever seen him before. Just wish i wouldnt have lost the damn camera so i could have gotten my picture with him.. Oh well though I will see him again... Overall it was a great time and i cannot wait to see him again...

actually Ferry did come out but not until about 5:20 AM, in the meantime he was running around inside Glow with his happy b-day poster rolled up like a light saber running around making the light saber noises and hitting people with the poster, than grabbing his crotch and saying he was goldmember, lets just say Ferry had a lot to drink. He is absolutely hilarious, by about 5:30 he was slurring his speech, stumbling, saying phrases com,pletely backwards, like he goes up to me and says 'Im a sheep in wolves' clothing" now I know what the saying is so I told him he just called himself a pussy lmao. At that point pretty much everyone was cracking up so his only retaliation was to assault us with his poster again and then grab his crotch jackson-style and scream goldmember!!!! Ah, what a night, got home at 8 am. Ferry played an amazing set, and intereacted more with the crowd then any other dj I have ever seen. He was so talkative and so willing to sign autographs that the Glow staff was getting mad at him because they couldnt sweep the club floor because he took so long signing autographs and talking with fans. Definately a class act even though he might not remember most of it today lol. I must say being as drunk as he was his mixing was def. very flawless with maybe 1 offbeat mix the whole night, one of the best sets I have seen in a long time. I will see everyone at Johan on the 21st!!!!!!

Hah, yeah he was drunk. It got too cold for us though, me yujie, and my friend left cuz we couldn't feel our bodies anymore hehe. Too bad we missed the pic =P. but ah well. I still had an awesome night and got signed vinyl/glow-card.
