I bought my tech's second hand and they are perect still. Just make sure they are in good nic.

Don't know about the mixer though. 1,600 ain't that bad if you think about it as 750 for the decks and 100 for the mixer. You're not really saving that much though cos you might replace the mixer pretty quickly, but go for the decks man. A tech is a tech, don't matter how old it is

yep...go for it, technis is THAT good...considering that centralz had their listening-station-technis for like 4 years, and imagine how many people use them everyday they are still in good condition.

$1600 is probably a nice price, just asj him to throw like 5 records or somthing to smooth things up..
