Ive also seen it labelled: 10Paul van Dyk - Animaction its a fast vinyl type rip of the track, however on closer expection you can here someone has jsut cut and past the track together, the intro beat sounds like a typical Paul van dyk beat but when the distinctive Suzann/Animaction riff comes in you can hear that it is faded in and even the snare is on an off beat.
the second way to tell its fake is, im sure all dj's know when they have two tracks in perfect time together and at the same level the bass differes on every beat, such as its loud then soft almost liek it gets cancelled out, its hard to hear to an untrained ear. but you can here this when the first riff enters.
anyway i know some people wont care but i just thought it is interesting that the tripping group 'xds' has put this fake rip out.
anyone else got this?

I believe the rip u are talking about is azraels reconstruction which was mistakenly thought to be the actual release. But it was labeled as suzann if i remember right

That fake rip is most definetely just my first attempt at reconstructing the song. Funny - I did that first recon like 3 months ago. I listen to it now - god it sounds hurtin'! These idiot rippers are way behind.
I recently did a new recon using the source from Animacion itself - a clean cd rip- and its almost perfect - no crossover beats, no imperfect snares, all sequenced and rebuilt from the ground up. It plays at 143 bpm - not as fast as my first recon - (146 maybe? - cant remember). This one puts all my other recons to shame. I may never even do another - as I doubt I can top this new 2nd edition recon. Its impossible to tell from the actual thing - which may never even be released. F.Y.I. its 7:53. The first time I posted this one a week ago, I realized the beats changed up at one point in pvd's own cd version this mistake has since been rectified.
Msg if interested

Interesting - I had a go at this myself a while ago, though only topped and tailed the rip from Rosenmontagsrave with some extra beats, sound quality distinctly dodgy unfortunately and lack of decent sequencing software mean that the beats were all over the place.
I'd love to hear Azreals recon, but don't have access to be hub as yet *sniff* *sniff*.
