Opinions about the tracklist i have to play

I get to spin for one of my first times next weekend and i get like an hour set and this are the tracks i'm thinking about playing. I want constructive opinions on how good or bad my choices are. Consider i get to play for a crowd who used to listen "cheese breaks".

01. DJ Tiesto - Lethal Industry (Original Mix)
02. Scooter - Ramp! The Logical Song (Jay Frog Mix)
03. Out Of Grace - Obscura (A1 Mix)
04. Apollo 440 - Stop The Rock (Gigolo Instrumental)
05. Vanox & Scandle - The Prime Suspect (A1 Mix)
06. Out Of Grace - Obscura (B1 Mix)
07. E-Wok - Go Back (Original Mix)
08. Witchboard Project - The Fog
09. Three Drives On A Vinyl - Greece 2000
10. Chicane - Saltwater (Original Mix)

Now thats where you come in...

Opening track is an oldie but goodie, I tend to like nice long symphonic intros though. The apollo 440 track is def. going to make them dance!

I admit I don't know some of the songs on your list, but the one suggestion I can think of is, why is Chicane the last song? I think of that as a slow, getting into the groove more close to the beginning of the set song... what do you think?

Oh whoops...I didn't ask, are you spinning before someone or after, or last...where are you with respect to the rest of the night? ;-)

Firstly, why do you play two versions of Obscura when you only have one hour? Unless they're pretty different, I wouldn't recommend that.. But I don't know both mixes, so maybe you're right after all.

Secondly, do you think it is good to have planned everything you are going to play? What if the crowd doesn't like your sound?

I'm playing chicane last because its pretty chill comparing to the rest of the tracks and it ends with breakbeats which would the DJ after me probably would spin

Yes, the obscura mixes are completely different, you will never know its a same song unless you own the vinyl.

I think the sound is good, i planned this tracklist specifically for peopel that will be there. All tracks are very melodic and catchy. If there are some tracks you dont know, you may download them and you'll see what i'm talking about. Otherwise i would throw more deeper, progressive sound if i would play for more mature audience. Whats gonna be tere is crackhead/candy kid central. Oh well, its one of my first tryes, gotta start somewhere
