Johan is going to be at club space this weekend and i am debating on whether or not it would be worthwhile seeing him. what is his style?? i do not enjoy epic/uplifting trance at a club so let me know if that's what he plays. i really like progressive and the harder stuff you can dance to. who has heard any of his recent live sets?? were they any good? what are some tracks he plays a lot? sorry for all the questions...any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Johan has a bad reputation esp in Holland but personally I don't see why, I really enjoy his sets because they are energetic, maybe a bit cheesy at times and if thats not ur style then dont go, but he's behind svenson & gielen & Airscape, so I guess u should go if u like them & stay away if u do not, but imo, I'd go, he's a great mixer with underrated skills

hmm i probably won't go. although i am interested in mixing skills in a DJ when i go to see a live performance...tracklist is key and i really do not enjoy uplifting airscape type stuff. i just saw armin last weekend and although he is a great guy and excellent DJ in the scene i really did not enjoy myself that much. he played a lot of "cheese" and the crowd was just stading around with their hands in the air 80% of the time. i like stuff you can really dance to. oh well. thanks
