CD Burning problems
This started recently:
When I burn CD's on a PC Burner drive from either .wav or MP3 at least half of the tracks on the disc are affected by a severe crackling sound, like they are being played off a piece of vinyl 50 years old.
Any ideas. Its really pissing me off now.
Cheers
Nick

Hi. Perhaps your PC is rather old, and can't handle properly the transfer data. It is not weird. Burn the cd at lower speed. But if you don't post the specifications of your pc, it's quite difficult.

make sure all other apps are closed. burn the cd on lowest speed possible (stops jittering, proven fact) make sure no external vibrations to cd drive (i.e. dont put it on your washing machine and jont jump around in the room your burning! this includes listening to music. make sure your using decent cdr's. if that dosent solve it, i dont know what will.
