Confused How do you remember the song when it plays???

I've always wondered how some of you guys could rattle off songs when they start playing...

At the best of times, I remember and recognize the song but I'm absolutely horrible at song title / mix / artist.

How do you guys/gals do it??

i ussually remember most tunes, but I am not very good at memorizing exact names, just cause there is so much music out there! But ussually I recognize the intro of a song and if I love it! I go wild, and people just stare at me but two minutes later everyone is in extasy! LOL

If I know the tune I'll recognize the fact that I know it, but I won't recognize the tune itself . I mean I could listen to Rank1 - Airwave and not have a clue that Im listening to it, but know for a fact that I have it

Sometimes I can recognize a track when it's being mixed in, but most of the time I only recognize it when it reaches a certain point. Mostly within one minute I know a track. That doesn't mean I know all the tracks... that would be insane But when I do recognize a track I can fully tell the artist and title of it, because I can remember tracknames very detailed.

I'm VERY good at remembering track names.
I tend to remember things I'm interested in really well and forget about things I don't care about.

It's very difficult to remember track names... Too much music to remember...

I can usually remember the tune as soon as I hear some sort of melody/vocals. Maybe even less is needed if it's a song I know well...

Exactly the same happens to me too!!!

Really great trance music is best heard when you're lying on the floor, with arms outstretched, crucified beneath monstrous speakers. Trance takes the thump of hardcore techno music and scatters it among swirls of melody and elliptical rhythms, facilitating a sense of detachment that allows the mind to wander. For instance, on Sasha's Global Underground: Ibiza the sounds rise and fall together, working cohesively, like on a perfect night in the blue room upstairs at the rave, bringing you back down to Earth only long enough to be bounced right back into the stratosphere. The music provides an appreciation of musical space--the distance between sounds and the silence before the boom--allowing the listener to seep into each song slowly, convincingly.
