its hard to judge.
I take it you're judging clubs from their lights and sound systems, dancefloors.. not their lineups??
coz I take lineups to be nearly similar over all UK's big clubs.. since one way or the other the world's greatest DJs will spin there.

by far the most impressive light system I've seen in a club, not just in England, but wherever I've been in the world, is FABRIC.
Sound system, I love the sound system installed in THE ROCK, here in Bristol. It is claimed to be the exact system installed in Twilo, New York. Massive by the word, and received praise from DJs as Nick Warren and Deep Dish.

and ofcourse we count the Republic, home of Gatecrasher, in every top 5 list of clubs.
Cream, I've been to last year. Impressive.

The Code, Birmingham is a very impressive club, but I haven't been there yet. so my list goes for the top 5 clubs out of the ones I've been to:

Rock, Bristol
Fabric, London
Crasher, Sheffield
Cream, Liverpool
Creation, Bristol (Slinky)

Oh...didn't know we were judgin on the club itself with sound, lights etc...i thought it woz on dj's n atmosphere!

i totally agree with you about FABRIC then...went last year and the sound and lightin just blew me away!
the music comes through the floor in room 2 and gets you dancin even if you were on your death bed!!!

that changes my chart then considerably..

1.) FABRIC (London)
2.) Godskitchen (Bham)
3.) Crasher (Sheffield)
4.) Cream (liverpool)
5.) Golden (stoke-on-trent)

well I am not sure what Infinity meant, but I took it to be the clubs themselves (including atmosphere).. rather than line-ups..

and if I had a top 6, I'll add Turnmills, London..
but the ones above are my top 5
