I managed to watch the last two periods of the game, 'cuz I got off work earlier than expected.

For Canada to win against Russia, the defence will have to have a better game -especially #4. The Canadian defence were BRUTAL tonight, as they were getting knocked off the puck, failing to clear the zone, getting beat in foot races, and taking stupid penalties.

That #4 is horrendous! He's so slow, and he keeps giving the puck up in our zone. I know he scored the game winner, but Christ!

I used to play with Brendan Bell. He was taking some stupid penalties. He should play better in our zone too.

Our D have to move the puck quicker in our zone, and both forwards and D have to clear the zone. I can't count how many times we had a chance, but failed to get the puck out. The U.S. may not be able to capitalize on that, but the Russians sure will. Get the puck out of our zone, and stop being pretty!!!

What's up with these Looooooooooooooong hail mary passes? I know there is no two-line passes, but we have to make the short passes! The far guy is there to stretch the defence back, not to try and score on a 1 on 2! All we have to do is pass to the short man and we'll have a 3 on 2 instead.


One thing is for sure, though, is that Canada has a tender. Fleury is playing amazing -even with his flu. I hope Fleury gets well before Sunday 'cuz that other tender sux. Did anyone see him give up 2 goals against the Finns? The Tender has to make those saves, we can't give up cheapies like that.

both teams are pretty much unreal, i think russia will have a hard time adapting to the smaller rinks and canada's rougher style of play, see how cananda pretty much thumped all the european teams, but if you watched the us-can game it was much like a game straight from the whl,pure north american styles from both teams, russia's gonna get pounded the first period, and will try to fight back,and will put up a good fight and play well, but fuck it, im canadian, the russians are gonna get fuckin STOMPED yeah!!!!!!!!! canada wins gold medal 5-2 on sunday
