Nah, it doesn't need to stop. When they blatantly use melodies from other artists, probably they are paying the royalties for this. For example, I don't remember (nor I care) which tune they "ripped off" from Push, but guess what? Probably, they'll sell more copies than Push did, and Push will receive part of the money.
Plus, they used to be a great act (I even own a single from Scooter: "Fire"), and they've been around for 10 years: how many other artists managed to last this long? Even if it's cheesy, it's usually a gateway to electronic music... first Scooter and then trance, techno, drum'n'bass...
If you don't like them, just ignore their existence... why care? |
I care because Scooter > Wrong
Scooter causes 14 year olds to sing and dance and shout YAY WE LOVE SCOOTER in the streets.
Those 14 year olds grow up to be pikey 18 year olds with 1.2 nova's (no offence to anyone who drives a 1.2 nova, unless your a pikey of course, then i hope you turn your car into a fireball during a failed burnout) and we all know what pikey nova drivers listen to? Yes, Scooter...
Therfore, he should be burnt alive in a big pit along with Flip and Fill and said pikey's.
