Came down with some friends from ottawa including Mr. Mo.. got there.. marco v started it up.. take off haha


It was great to see many tranceaddicts and put even more names to faces again


Mazen, fastdj, JPX!, castrateur, dj charlie, technoFREAK! haha (not addict , Ahlamalek, stephanie, Mike b, Razoryokes, and a ton of others! ahh i forgot to mention!!



awesome night! totaly, not too crowded, amazing music.. looooots of dance room.. and an awesome crowd perfect night

it was a splendid night Marco V threw a huge set but I was a little decide by j00f....
it was great but the music was the same from one tune to another..

besides that, awesome night, lots of dancing room not too hot..

p.s: id really like to know the name of the first song Marco V played plz...

This was my first time out at aria in a long time, and i picked the perfect night.... Marco V was sensational... as usual he had a great set, and was really happy about that... i got to meet him once again, and he is a class act... but the best part of the night was when J00F came on... I didnt really know him that well... i remember i used to listen to him like 1 and a half years ago, but since then nopt much... let me tell you, the guy blew me away... he was slow to start though, but when he got into it, my god the guy exploded with insane track selection... i dont know them by heart, but it was awesome... I'm really happy that i got to party in the booth with malek taha and mazen when he was on, and the guy is super cool... anyways, for about 1 hour in the booth, i had a great time...

J00F totally blew me away, and i think he just made my top 10 djs, maybe even top 5... You guys in Ottawa tonight are in for a treat... have fun...

and now, i'm going to try to download a recent J00F live set...

here's my night:

One of my cuz from Ottawa was in town so we went to Illume...
I'm not gonna review that... lol but the DJ there sucked bigtime...
He fucked all his mixes. Anyways.
Then we went to eat some shish taouk ! lol and we splited up after that. So thats when I got in front of Aria.
I came in at around 3:15.
Last night I saw a lot of TAs, (wassup guys)
The music was so damn great. I'm not much of a prog, but I enjoyed the night.
Marco V was great. He played some nice tunes.
J00F also was great but I didn't last till the end of his set.
My leg started to hurt near the end of Marco V's, and my cuz was tired. So we left like 30 after J00F started.
I was surprised to see the dance floor that empty. was it cause of the cold outside ?
No negatif point for that night. except that guy who was whistling all night long. I really felt like punching him in the face.

the recording for marco v will be available to download in 2 weeks or so, Tiesto's recording is still in editing.

Thanks Biggy for bringing 2 great DJs in one night... I can't imagine how crazy it will be on june 13 !!!!!!!!!

imo, AWESOME NIGHT!

I began my night at Le Pub Maisonneuve (cheapest beer in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve ), then I went to The Loft, where music is not so bad and the vibe is good (maybe alcohol helped a lot). There was a lot of lesbians there.. seriously.. and a lot of girls.. huge contrast with the Aria-electronic room.

Marco v was my number 1 and kept his position.
So Godd decided to honor us by delivering a very good set. Last time I stayed on the dance floor all time long was at Ferry venue. Preach had a great set too, this guy is definitively one of my favorite local djs. Temperature was ok and we had as much space as we wanted on the dance floor, it was perfect! In my opinion, the only bad point was that I think the record for the guys/girls ratio was broke on last night. The show given by those 3 girls on the speaker wasnt enough to equilibrate the flagrant unbalance.

And about j00f, i left after ~30mins of his set.. I was so wasted after Preach and Marco V.. no taking of drugs has this kind of inconvenient.

i had a great night with you all; robr, rnakr, malek, jpx, taha, detective you, j@y, nrg2infinit, stephanie (a montreal ta-girl, w00t w00t! hehe ), dj charlie, and few others that I can't remember (damn alcohol). Was mastercongo absent? Well, I'm counting on j@y & family to provide the tracklist I'm so far of being an iding whore

nrg2infinit got the lightstick award.

and about the eternal whistling man, I went to him and told him to stop because it was annoying and disturbing for everybody, including the dj. the guy replyed something that I don't really understood.. it sounded like he was waiting for someone else like security to ask him to stop. asshole.

that was one of the best night ever!!!!!
marco v has this ability to choose the right song for the moment.......it was great to see that much TA, ure all great!
hope to see a good tracklist especially the first tune!!!!!

1st of all the story of the first tune : during the whole week ZinG and i were searching like mad for this track , finally someone IDed it and we found it only 2 days ago , since then we are playing it non stop. as soon as marco came we started talking about his recent stuff specially the mixmag compilation he did which included THE famous track , and we told him how good it is , so i think that's why he opened his set with it the track is ... Villanord - Futurescope

We arrived at around 3:30 and preach was already playing , it was nice again to hear Aria's youngest DJ specially when he played his own stuff like Simulated (Preach Remix) , Phonec and one of his new tracks he showed me a couple of days ago (Insomniak). i'm not gonna reveal what Marco V said to ZinG in his interview but i can assure you he likes preach a lot more to be revealed hehe

Marco V is definitely my 2nd fav. DJ , this is the second time i see him and he didn't deceive at all , his performance was just as good as the previous one in august 2002. it was nice to hear this nice blend of fresh tech/electro/trance tunes perfectly mixed one with the other , to sum it all : PERFECT SET TECHNICALLY and also PERFECT TRACKLISTING, even Biggy himself was blown-away and loved it. i won't write the whole tracklist but rather the tracks that left a great impression on us and the new material he played :

A couple of minutes before Marco finished his set John '00' stepped inside the booth and him and Marco were having quite a lot of fun just monkeying around like old friends at around 6:30 John started playing a nice progressive trance set that finished up with some acid/goa psychedelic notes , i never believed there was a genre called "progressive trance" until i heard '00' mixing yesterday (for me it was either progressive or trance). it was very nice specially after the big beats Marco dropped. i recognized only two tracks i think : Sasha vs Junkie XL - Beauty Never Fades and a track with some old Kirsty Hawkshaw vocals on them.

John finished his set at 8:30 and right after him Marco G took the commands on the new V6 mixer (finally someone who dares playing on it hehe) for a banging techno set to close one of the best parties i've been to.

thanks to all TAs specially the new ones i met who were there altho it would have been better if two mofos showed up : mastercongo and milanster, and also thanks a lot to Biggy for bringing such good djs and making his club the best place in town , keep up the good work
