Whats the best stuff to get this industrial strength gunk out of your hair? Someone mentioned baby oil, But im not too sure that would work. Ive been using bath cleaner but its not that effective nor good for my hair.

lol i tried everything u can imagine, and the best method is asda green shampoo! lmao! seriously, soak your hair well, then just wash your hair normally, put in plenty of standard shampoo, leave it for 60 seconds, then rinse well. one wash will take out about 70% of the wax, then just wash it everynite and it'll be gone in a day or two.

Don't wet your hair before washing, it'll solidify the wax.

Massage soap & baby oil into the spikes and break them up. Use as little water as possible until yo have to rinse.

The best way to get rid of it, is make sure it has been in your hair for ages, ie all night, then wash with soap first and rinse, then just wash with shampoo, gets it out pretty easy, shampoo is the best stuff.

One warning, do not try to wash it out straight after applying it. Its a total bitch

u can buy shampoo especially made for getting out dax. Probably well expensive tho.

Spad is spot on. Use little, if any at all water when using shampoo, definatly works.

baby oil is the internationally accepted method for dax way removal.. rub the baby oil on dry hair, rub it like fuck with a towel, then wash it.

shampoo on it's own won't do a lot if there's loads of wax on your hair.

i use that exact same shit! tea tree and the herbil shite..

as my dear friend michael pointed out, you can get a dax shampoo, its a dax wax vegetable oil shampoo..... its only summat like 3.50 a bottle, but in all my dax wax using years, ive only ever seen it one shop..... and that was 'boots', but they only started stocking it about a year and a half after i started using dax. try a traditional male hairdressers they usually sell obscure items, might be able to get it there

I found a website that sell is, its 6.50 a bottle. Awfull lot of money to pay for a bottle of shampoo, But if it gets the stuff out i suppose its worth shelling out for.
