i think that, usually, the best way to open a set (if you're plying from the complete begining) would be to start with someone with a killer intro. ex: Tiesto - Magik Journey; Solar Stone - Seven Cities (avb mix)

but if you're mixing into someone else's last track, i'd say Cosmicman - Krystal Dreams. quite possibly the sickest track i've ever heard. if played as the first track by any DJ at a club, i would execute myself.
