I think this is the third topic on the Melbourne Shuffle in these forums now (I think the other two were in the C/O Room?) so it's obviously starting to become more famous overseas now. It's wierd, because when I started clubbing I just assumed that everyone in the world danced the same way we do down here, but obviously that's not the case?
Anyway....

Well I have obviously.

I reckon it's pretty cool, and the best thing about it is that you don't have to be the greatest dancer in the world to be able to do it in public without embarrassing yourself. Just a bit've leg shuffling, some hand movements that make you look like an epileptic librarian trying to do the chicken dance and hey presto, you're in.
Yep, I suppose so. As I understand it, there's as many takes on the MS as there are people so I'm not sure if the way I dance is really true to the MS (or if it's any good) but yeah, I'm pretty sure I can do it okay.
Anyway, I reccomend you dig up the older threads in the Chill Out Room and the Aussie forums that cover this topic, because there were some pretty good responses there, but it doesn't mean we have to shut this topic down...... it makes us Melbournians feel special.
