Idea The voice(s) of every single Theatrical preview movie ever made..

Note to movies..

i've often wondered

all those movie commericals.. and those 2-3 gentlemen who talk about the movie.. who are these ppl!!

who the hell are those guys with those intoxicating voices.. i mean.. common, how long has it been and theyre STILL doing the same voices? who are these ppl, does anyone know? when will they die and get a new pair of voices to do all the commericals for the big ass movies.. what are your thoughts on this!?!

who are these people..!!

example?

TURN YOUR T.V AND FIND A MOVIE COMMERCIAL!!

It's not always the same people, there's a lot more people than u think that have a low voice. And they get paid shitloads of money for those 2 minute trailers. I wish I had a movie trailer voice

I can do that voice. It's really not hard as long as you have some control over your voice. And BTW the people who do those voices, dont use their real voice.

I agree with Vanilla

My brother can do that voice too, and funnily enough, he's just 16

actually, it is their real voice
as a radio producer i've worked with a few of these people personally
i've had to call them up and talk to them about certain reads that need to be read a certain way

so far i've worked with
zeus (his real name!)(calgary and edmonton peeps know him from cjay 92 and the bear in edmonton)
mitch craig (does a lot of work for rogers communications)
david kaye (another radio station voiceover guy, does work for a wide range of people)

they usually do radio station stuff though
like station ids, promos, and that sort of thing

they have studios in their homes and we just fax them the scripts and they fire off a few reads
then they send the mp3s through different mediums
sometimes burnt on a cd though fedex or through a webpage like spot taxi

i wish i had the pipes to do work like that
i know zeus clears 2 million a year easily
and all he does is crawl out of bed, pick up a few pages of script, read it, then send it off

i can try find their homepages if anyone else is interested, or you can just search in any search engine for their names

and vanilla, if you really can do that voice i'd love to use you for my production demo
