I make my trance in FuityLoops 3.56.

What's the best filter (or similar effect) to use of synth leads to make that building warmer to louder effect that is so prominent in trance??

What effect combos do you use?? What effect combos do the pros use??

I'm curious because I use the fruity free filter on my synths for that effect, but I can't get the sound I want when it filters down to the 200hz to 400hz range with 12dB gain , low pass, and 3 bars on that Q thing.

please advise, I appreciate it.

try the D-Pole filter by waldorf. even though i haven't used it much, its real good. You can get some craaazy fx sounds out of it too. as for me, I just use the effects on my synth to process most of my sounds

just put some reeverb, delay, an equaliser and a little bit of flanger on the synth channel

I know all about those.... what I think I need is a better filter effect.
