I hate pop up ads!!!! gah theres this one that takes up my entire screen by suprise, and it happens every day for no apparent reason. does anyone know any good anti-popup programs? thanks in advance.

Go to www.download.com and download the freeware called "Adaware" by Lavasoft.
It removes adware that pops up, because of something on your computer's hard drive (even if you are not surfing the web)

you cant help it, and the anti-popads programs are never 100% effective imho. so just keep on clicking the x and close the windows.
the only ones that annoy me are the interactive ones that you cant close until it finished playing.

Check out 'Free Surfer' if you want a pop-up killer that's free, simple and Very easy to use.
If that doesn't solve your problem, you are well advised, as someone already pointed out, to get Lavasoft Ad-Aware. This scans your computer for spyware and related rubbish then lets you remove it all.
