i ejected a disk out of my friends player and now it makes a horrible noise and the words eject and welcome keep flashing over and over! its obvious that it is something with the eject button, but is there a way to fix this w/out taking it in? and if not where would i take it to? i cant think of any shops that work on mini disks. anyways thanks for your input

Just take it back where it was bought.. or take it to the manufacturer's service centre (sony, jvc etc..) If there isn't one in your area you can always have it delivered to them

I had a Sony MZR-70 the little baby blue one. Dropped it and didn't feel like recording any more. Fcuk! It wasn't woth repairing it so I sold it (To some dumb ass). Anyways I got a cd-writer instead so I'm happy but it really was adoreable little thing. I mean I've had @ 4 different MD's since back @ 4 years ago. I bought one before they were cheap and popular.
