Advice: Mix with "Cool Edit Pro 2.0"
Mixing with "Cool Edit Pro 2.0" is a breeze...just make a fade out on the end of a track...get a new track and take the beggining and put fade in on it and Mix paste onto the other track...there you go...ure first mix!

In the multi-track mode you can even set a project BPM and match any samples to it. That way you’d get better results, though I don’t know how good the BPM stretching actually is, I’ve never used it.

Yea! The earlier he starts, the better he'll be. Younger people learn better, ya know?

Just out of curiousity, do you have any of your mixes posted online. The ones that I did with Mixmeister are hosted at texasbeatz, just search for "DJ Kibon".
When making my mixes, I turned off all the automatic crap, and tried to really push the program to the edge (with my "megamix" intros for example).
Of course, you can only do so much with software, so now I've invested in a pair of Technics to take my mixing to the next level. Everyone starts somewhere...

true! I started with Traktor, and when I bought my mixer and the cd decks the transition to the "real thing" was really really easy, and I gotta thank Native Instruments for that hehe

Never posted the mixes... the only reason that i started using mixmeister is because i had so many tracks that i loved, but fitting only 10 tracks on a cd for the car was a no no... besides long intro... hmmm not good... gets boring after a while..
And now.. when ppl ride with me i can put sumthing on thats a little diff to the MOS/ID&T most ppl want to hear..
